Where is Siren Salon located?

Siren is located in the Arts District of Downtown Vancouver, WA. We are tucked in between Bessolo Pizzeria and Evergreen Pub. There is clear labeling outside with beautiful blooming flower beds! Parking is usually found quickly and close by. Since we are located downtown please plan time for parking or traffic from any events going on locally. Where should I park?

Parking is available on the street and is metered. Pay Stations accept credit cards or coin only, no paper cash. Parking Kitty APP is available in your app store for contactless payment to your meter. Please read all signage and properly plan accordingly. There is a “free” parking lot 1 block East of Siren at Evergreen Blvd & Broadway St. It has 1 and 2 hour parking spaces, so perfect for a quick haircut or root touch up appointment only. Please read the signage, as it is a mixed lot. Parking on the street is FREE on Saturday + Sunday and after 6pm.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive promptly at your appointment time. If you find yourself running behind please contact me directly. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to adjust our services to ensure proper timing for following guests. Come with clean hair washed within the last 2-3 days. I encourage you to wear something that makes you feel like your best self. Try to avoid turtlenecks, hoodies, or anything with a high neckline. Find and save inspiration photos to guide us. Please decide what you like and do not like about the hair in the photos and your hair currently.

What is grey blending?

My approach to grey blending aims to soften texture, brighten dull tones, and adds shine. Whether you are looking to grow out your old color, enhance your newly grown out grey, or spice up your new found love for your roots, I’m your girl. I love seeing grey and finding a path that makes you feel best about changes in your hair.

What is lived in color?

Lived in color works with your natural tones and texture for a smooth grow out and low commitment to maintenance. Each color is personalized to what you’re looking for and what you have naturally. Blondes, brunettes, cuts, reds and coppers are all welcome in the world of lived in hair. We will map out a plan that works best for your lifestyle, budget, and ultimate hair goals. Have you felt “over highlighted” “over-processed” or feel like you have roots that annoy you after just a couple weeks? Do you feel like your color is unbalanced or at a high contrast? Lived in color will solve all of these problems. Please allow up to 4 hours for this type of service.

What is creative color?

Bright shades are created in the hair using a stain. All colors that are not naturally occurring stain the hair on the outermost layer of your cuticle. This is why all creative colors fade faster than traditional hair color or gloss. Creative colors last best on previously lightened hair and can also be used on natural hair for a more temporary look. I love creating looks including block coloring, ghost roots, and raccoon stripes. We always start with a detailed consultation to properly prepare for our fun project.

Appointment Agreements

Cancellations can be made 24 hours before your appointment. I enforce a 15-minute grace period, late arrivals may result in an adjustment of your services or rescheduling. Please get in touch with me directly if you expect a late arrival. If you do not show to your scheduled appointment or same day cancel, there is a possibility I will not re-book you, and there may be a fee associated.

I appreciate full transparency when it comes to the result of your hair. Open communication leads us to success with your goals and what we can achieve each session. If you aren’t in love with the outcome of your hair, please reach out within a week of your appointment to discuss adjustment. I do not offer refunds.
